Nodogames, LLC ("Nodogames," "we," "us," or "our") provides Kofi Cafe, including the Kofi Cafe game (available on the App Store, including TestFlight builds), and this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Kofi Cafe.
Kofi Cafe is designed to be playable without creating an account. We use Google Firebase Analytics to measure how the game is played, and Kofi Cafe shows optional rewarded ads through Unity LevelPlay, which mediates ads from Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob, as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing advertising identifiers with our advertising partners to show personalized ads may be considered a "sale" or "share" under some privacy laws, and you can opt out as described in "Your Choices."
Information We Collect
- Gameplay information stored on your device. Kofi Cafe may save gameplay progress, settings, preferences, and similar game data locally on your device. We do not receive this local data unless you choose to send it to us, such as when sharing feedback or a screenshot.
- Information you choose to send us. If you contact us, submit TestFlight feedback, join the Kofi Cafe Discord community, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive your name, username, email address, message content, screenshots, crash details, and any other information you choose to share.
- Analytics information we collect automatically. Kofi Cafe uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how players interact with the game. When you play, the game automatically collects and sends usage and gameplay data to Firebase/Google servers. This may include in-game events and actions, session activity, gameplay progress, the app version and language, general device and operating system information, country or region, and a Firebase-generated app instance identifier. We use this data to understand how the game is played and to improve it. Google processes this information as our service provider under its own privacy and security terms, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
- Advertising information. Kofi Cafe shows optional rewarded ads. To deliver and measure these ads, our advertising partners may access a device advertising identifier (the Identifier for Advertisers ("IDFA") on Apple devices), along with general device and network information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about the ads you are shown and interact with. See "Advertising and Advertising Identifiers" below.
- App platform information. Apple, TestFlight, and similar platforms may process account, device, purchase, diagnostic, download, or crash information under their own privacy policies. We may receive limited diagnostics, crash reports, tester feedback, or purchase status information, if applicable, from those platforms when permitted by your settings and the platform.
- Website technical information. This website is static and does not require an account. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, referring page, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate Kofi Cafe, save your progress, analyze how the game is played, respond to messages and feedback, test and improve the game, troubleshoot bugs and crashes, keep the website and game secure, and comply with legal obligations.
Advertising and Advertising Identifiers
Kofi Cafe shows optional rewarded ads, which are short ads you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. We use Unity LevelPlay as our advertising mediator, and it requests ads from Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob.
To deliver and measure ads, these advertising partners may access a device advertising identifier (IDFA on Apple devices), along with general device and network information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about the ads you are shown and interact with. Where permitted, this may be used for personalized (interest-based) advertising, which can involve tracking across other apps and websites.
On Apple devices, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking; if you do not grant permission, you will see less personalized ads. In regions such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we request consent for personalized advertising and pass your choice to our advertising partners, and if you do not consent we limit ads to non-personalized (contextual) ads.

How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers and platforms that help us provide Kofi Cafe, such as app stores, including the App Store and TestFlight, analytics providers such as Google Firebase, advertising partners such as Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob, and their third-party demand partners, hosting providers, and community platforms such as Discord. We require these service providers and partners to handle your information consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, and to provide a level of protection for your information equivalent to the protections described here. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money, though sharing advertising identifiers for personalized advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "share" under some privacy laws; see "Your Choices" to opt out.
Your Choices
- You can play Kofi Cafe without creating a Nodogames account.
- You can choose not to send feedback, screenshots, or support messages.
- You can delete local game data by deleting Kofi Cafe from your device. Platform backups or cloud saves, if enabled on your device, may need to be managed through your device or platform settings.
- You can opt out of personalized ads on Apple devices by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or by turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in Settings.
- Where personalized-ads consent applies, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you can decline or change your consent, and we will limit ads to non-personalized ads.
- You can ask us not to "sell" or "share" your information for personalized advertising, consistent with applicable privacy laws.
- You can manage TestFlight, app store, Discord, and device privacy settings through those services.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we maintain about you.
Children's Privacy
Kofi Cafe is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We configure our advertising partners to treat Kofi Cafe's ad requests as general-audience content (for example, AdMob ad content is limited to a general-audience rating), and we do not knowingly serve personalized advertising to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing support, improving Kofi Cafe, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal requirements.
International Users
Nodogames, LLC is based in the United States. If you use Kofi Cafe from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Kofi Cafe after an update means the updated policy applies.
